Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Al Hidaya Bookshop, operated by ALHIDAYA TRADING LLC, through https://elhidaya-bookshop.com.

1. Return Period

Customers may request a return within 7 days from the date of receiving the order, provided the item is eligible for return and is in its original condition.

2. Eligible Returns

Items may be eligible for return if:

  • The wrong item was delivered
  • The item arrived damaged or defective
  • The item is unused, unopened where applicable, and in original packaging
  • The customer provides proof of purchase or order number

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be eligible for return unless damaged, defective, or incorrectly delivered:

  • Used, damaged, or altered items after delivery
  • Items without original packaging
  • Special-order or customized items
  • Books or products with clear signs of use, writing, marking, or physical damage caused after delivery
  • Discounted or clearance items marked as final sale, where applicable

4. Return Process

To request a return, the customer should contact the store with the order number, reason for return, and photos if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. The return must be approved before sending the item back.

5. Refunds

After the returned item is received and inspected, the refund will be approved or rejected based on the item condition and this policy. Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible. Bank or payment gateway processing times may vary.

6. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges may be non-refundable unless the return is due to our error, such as incorrect item delivery or a damaged/defective product.

7. Exchanges

If an item is eligible, customers may request an exchange instead of a refund, subject to product availability.

8. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If a customer receives a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, the customer should report it as soon as possible after delivery and provide photos of the item and packaging for review.
